Set InductionOkay class today we

are going to continue
to work on Frisbee like
we did on Tuesday.
Can somebody really
quick tell how to throw
a Frisbee. Awesome
thank you. The reason
why we are practicing
how to throw a
Frisbee is because we
want to become the
best that we can be
right, and of course to
stay in shape and fit
and healthy.

Task 1
For the first activity
you and your partner
will line up across
from each other like
we once did on
tiesday okay. The
first two people to do
this quietly and first
will receive their
frisbees to start.
Students will be
about 5-10 yards
apart. (teacher will
have shown them
how to throw a hip
pass by then)
HIP PASS: What you
want to do is pinch
the Frisbee with
thumb and place the
index finder on the
curve side of the
Frisbee while the
three fingers are on
the bottom. Then
you are going to
place elbow on hip
and flick the Frisbee.

Do not
throw the
Frisbee as
hard as you
can.
Remember
the
objective is
to complete
a hip pass
to your
partner.
It is
important to
practice this
because
after this
activity we
are going to
practice
throwing
and
catching the
Frisbee
while
running
from one
end to
another.

Frisbees
are made
out of
plastic and
if a student
gets hit
they might
get hurt.
Fingers can
also get
jammed by
Frisbee if
not caught
correctly.

Task 2For this activity the

students will get a
chance to apply both
passing techniques
with the Frisbee.
Once again they will
be with their
partners and the
objective is to throw
the Frisbee but both
partners have to
reach a certain
destination. For
example, one partner
throws the Frisbee
and the other
student is running
linearly to catch it,
wherever they catch
it they have to place
a cone there to help
the process. When
they catch it the
other person then
runs linearly and
tries to catch the
Frisbee to try to get
to a certain
destination, but if
they do not catch the
Frisbee or drop it
then they have to
start from the last
spot they were in.

Make sure
you throw it
with a good
amount of
power not
too hard not
too soft in
order for
your partner
to catch it,
You want to
reach the
destination,
but in order
to do that
you must
catch and
throw the
Frisbee
correctly.

When the
Frisbee is
misthrown it
can hurt a
student
when it hits
them.
There might
be some
holes or it
might be
slippery in
the black
top or grass
area and
that can
lead
students to
fall.
