ROLES: running a CAMPAIGN is like running a corporation. If you dont work together
efficiently & effectively, your business will FAIL.
Presidential Candidate: The candidate is responsible for representing the campaign
team during the debate on November 2nd and 7th. S/he will help research and OWN
who you are and acknowledge your opponents information too. S/he will be the Face of
the Presidential candidate and maintain and ensure SUCCESS throughout the campaign
trail and must be prepared to deliver the opening and closing statements at each debate.
Vice Presidential Candidate: It is this persons duty to pump up the facts for the
candidate and help her/him write the position speech for the debate. In addition, as VP
you will also be facing off with the opponents VP and further support the President in
winning the election.
- Campaign Manager: this persons role is to pull the campaign together and hold
it together. An effective Campaign Manager communicates with everyone, making sure
the staff knows what to do, that the candidate is on track, and that the outside world has
a positive view of the campaign. There should be regular staff meetings, reviewing the
Campaign Plan, making alterations and discussing potential problems
- Political Field Department: Research and write each platform. Provide
information to the campaign team on issues.
o Field Experts: become the expert in this issue and know where
