Friends, recently I came across very shocking news of

demise of our colleague Shri Amit Malviya JTO of Batch 2007 on

21.09.2016 by heart attack. This news shocked to all BSNL Direct
Recruit fraternity. He was the only son and wanted to take care of
his aged parents. After calculating the all benefit like EPF
contribution i.e actually his own amount, GSLIS and other benefit
it will come around 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakh only). If his
family keeps this money fixed in the bank they will get around Rs
13,000/- interest for their survival. As You all think the man who is
earning Rupees Fifty Thousand monthly , how his family will
survive in future with Rs 13,00,000/-. This is the big question in
front of me also and as well as all of you are also thinking in the
mind. As per the BSNL Management can do anything because we
dont have any option for selecting any pension scheme. We will
get good amount from EPF after retirement only. But if anything
happened with us before that , what to do? Who will come for our
help?
Answer for that is , only we can help to each other and
survive. Because we are travelling in the same boat in this storm.
So friends what can we do for ourselves.
There are five bathes of JTO like 2001,2003,2007,2009 and
2010. Each batch is having average strength of 2500 and more.
Means we all are having nearly 10000.And we are having strength
TTA/JE cader is almost 15000.
If we collect Rs 1000 per month from every one the collected
amount will be Rs 1,00,00,000/-. So in one year we can collect Rs
12,00,00,000/-.
If any member from our welfare will expired we should give
his family Rs 1crore.
Rules and regulation are given in detailed as follows. Rules and
Regulation for BSNL DR WELFARE:

Investment Part:1 Every member will contribute Rs 1000/- per month towards
welfare Account.
2 If we are having 10 Thousand members in welfare group the
amount collected Rs 1 crore per month on the first date of
every month via ECS .
3 We will have the agreement between SBI MF/LIC MF to invest
Rs 1crore in SIP A/C at the every month on the 5 th day.
4 So in an year we have invested Rs 12 crore in SIP plan.
Welfare Fund Controlling:1 We will have agreement between SBI MF/LIC MF for holding
and safeguarding the fund by investing.
2 No member is directly involved for handling the fund.
3 So the Institution will charge the welfare for handling the
fund only and not for any Insurance charges.
Insurance Cover Detailed:1 We are planning that every member will cover for Rs 1 crore
in case of death of our member.
2 So in 1st year three of our member expired then we will give
them 3 crore. Then we will have the share of Rs 9 crore
equally from our 12 month contribution .
3 Roughly we have covered ourself for Rs 1 crore in 3 thousand
rupees.
4 Because 9 thousand will remain in our investment.
5 If there are no demise in a year, we can say that we have
covered ourself in free. Our 12 month contribution is safe in
the SIP investment.
6 We will plan that first five year we will cover ourself for Rs 1
crore with one month contribution, Next five Year for Rs 2
crore in Rs 2 thousand per month contribution.
7 So in every five years we can increase our contribution by Rs
1 thousand per month and our cover by Rs 1 crore.

8 It is for the reason that in every five year our salary will
increase approximately by 50 thousand. So it is must that
value of our life should also increase.
Handling of Insurance Fund for the Members:1 We will divide our territorial region of our country in four
parts as BSNL maintenance Region.
2 Like WTR, STR, ETR & NTR.
3 We will nominate four member in four region to form a
management committee for authorizing to disburse the
insurance amount to the family of demised member.
4 We will have the agreement with bank to disburse the
amount with valid recommendation of at least three member
committee and maximum four. This is for the sake purpose
because if any one member from management committee
expire then there should be any problem for dealing
remaining three members.
5 Management committee members will be changed
periodically after two years and same will be informed to the
bank regarding new management committee.
6 If any member has expired, then members from the city
should form 10 members committee and will inform
management committee member of their region. 10
members committee will collect the death certificate of the
member and cross verification letter from the higher officer
of the demise member. Regional Management committee
member should verify the thing by best of his understanding
by personally visiting or any other method. Insured amount
will given to the nominee only as per BSNL MRS card.
7 Then management committee member have to inform other
three member.
8 Four member committee should inform on the same letter to
the Bank for raising the fund from the investment which will
be deducted equally from the share of all the member.
9 Bank will have already informed at the time of agreement
itself to verify four member management committee letter,

Ten members committee letter, higher officer

recommendation letter.
10Management committee will try to finish all the above work
within 30 days after the intimation of the demises.

Retirement benefit:1 We will continue our membership upto our retirement only.
2 Suppose the JTO who is now forty years old he will contribute
for 20 *12=240 months.
3 So his total contribution is for 240 months in Rs 2,40,000/-.
4 If 100 members has expired during the period then his 140
month contribution will get return with the interest which we
will gain in the investment.
5 Management committee with the help of other members will
prepare the retirement benefit report. And management
committee will recommend disbursement amount and
members detailed to bank for disbursement.
6 So we can enjoy Insurance benefit in almost free of cost.

Welfare Membership:1 As we have started this group with one idea with very few
members in the group. Today after one week we are in 170
figure.
2 So we have to give wide publicity for this idea and convince
our friend to join the group.
3 We can join any of our members from TTA cader onwards.
There is no problem to join our DOT appointed employee in
this group. Members will decide on this issue.
4 So all existing members should send their basic information
to form the Data base
5 Information should have:1)Name
2)Designation, Unit of working
3) HRMS no

4) DOB
5) Posting Detailed District, State.
6) Nomination detailed as per MRS card of
BSNL.
6) Membership agreement and Bank agreement detailed
will be provided soon.
7) We have already spoken to the SBI Life Insuarance, LIC
and Birla Sun Life Insuarance about
this plan. This week something solid may happen.
Main Hurdle:1 Bank may say that agreement will be done with association.
In that case we have to form the association.
2 Instead forming new association we can go with our
AIGETOA association for our noble cause. I dont think that
there will be any problem will be come in this issue.
3 This week we will circulate this message in TTA fertility. For
joining the group.
4 We have to accommodate our new recruitment batches in
our group. So welfare activity never should stop.
5 Send your basic detailed on Monday onwards via SMS to

same division. So it is easy to prepare data base.

they have given hand to join us with them. So friends come and

batchmate. We have to form total minimum 10 Thousand of

group. Maximum we can achieve 25 Thousand. If we add all JTO

and TTA/JE cader all over India.
