Application guide for long-term course

***Student visa available***

1. Please make contact with SLS either by phone, by fax, or by emails.

Schools staff will ask you some questions, such as the starting date,
length of study, purpose of study, etc). Following your answers,
we will send the necessary application forms to you.

2. Please collect necessary documents and send them to SLS by the deadline.
In case you need to apply for a visa (pre college visa), the necessary documents are as follows:
1) SLS's application forms
2) Graduation Certificate of the last school graduated.
3) Proof of your Japanese ability, such as the certificate of
Japanese proficiency test, J-Test, or NAT etc.
4) Certificate of sponsors bank balance.
5) Sponsors bank record of transactions.
6) Certificate of employment from sponsor's workplace
7) Sponsor's annual income report for the last three years.
8) Family register certificate that proofs the relation between you and your sponsor.
9) 6 pictures (passport size)

3. SLS would be responsible for submitting all your documents to Sendai Immigration Bureau to
apply for your Certificate of Eligibility. Immigration would spend about two months to
review the documents.
After "Certificate of Eligibility" is issued from the Immigration Bureau, then please transfer
tuition fees for one year to the school's bank account.
Right after we confirm your payment, we will send the original copy of "Certificate of Eligibility"
and "Admission Certificate" to you.

4. Please apply for a visa at the nearest Japanese Embassy before coming to Japan.

5. After the visa is issued from the Japanese Embassy, you can finally
arrange your flight to come to Japan. Also please don't forget to
inform us your flight schedule in advance.
