How to restore contacts to an Android device

First you must download the contacts to the computer. If you have not done so, please follow the
instructionshere:
How to download your data (https://faq.lookout.com/topics/21503574-how-do-i-download-mycontacts-call-logs-and-pictures)
To upload the file to your device, please follow the instructions below.
Make sure that the contact sync setting is enabled on the mobile device:
Select the Settings of the device
Scroll to Accounts
Select Google
Under the Accounts should be your Gmail address. Select it and verify that Sync Contacts is
checked.
After the file is downloaded to your computer please sign into your Gmail account from a computer.
(Please make sure you are logged in using the same Gmail account that is registered on the device)
Select the"Gmail"drop-down menu at the top-left corner of your Gmail page, then choose "
Contacts (https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#contacts)"
From there select the "More"button above the contacts list and select "Import". A pop up menu
should appear.
From the pop-up menu select Choose File and you will be given the options to select the directory
where you downloaded the CSV/Vcard file.
After you select the file you will then need to select the Import button.
The contacts will now be uploaded to the Gmail account registered to the device. (Please note that this
can take several hours if you have a large amount of contacts to import. It is best to have your phone
connected to a WiFi network while syncing.)
