Production Diary Day 1

Scene(s) filmed Title sequence
Today we filmed approximately half of the title sequence, using the artwork from
one of our illustrators. In order to do this, we used the following equipment a
tripod, camera, and camera slider. Within this, we worked collaboratively in
terms of creativity and technique, however Chris was allocated the role of
camera operator (as shown in the images below). By working as a team, we were
able to set up both the scene and equipment as quickly as possible, this
including the creation of background props (as shown below, wherein Bailee is
holding a drawing that is featured in the background of some shots). Personally, I
undertook my role as director of the production,
discussing creative and technical decisions regarding
filming with my fellow team members.
Evaluation
Overall, I think that our first day of filming was highly
successful. Having reviewed the footage, we are
satisfied that we have produced work which is of a
high quality, and which we will use within postproduction. I think that we communicated well as a
team, combining group input and working together to
produce the best possible footage. We will, however,
need to use this location again, when filming the
second half of our title sequence. This is because the
remaining illustrations required were not available to
us

today,
thus

meaning we will have to continue filming

the scene at a later date.
