Outlook for the day

Silver ($/Oz)

Indian equities market finished the choppy session at a six month low as
investors are cautious on concerns that demonetisation could impact the near
term growth. Nifty traded in around 91 points range to end marginally lower at
8,079.95 with loss of 31.65 i.e., 39%.

Technical Build up

Ashika Stock Broking Limited

Indian Equity market traded dull on Thursday and ended marginally lower, in
absence of any major trigger. uncertainty over the impact of demonetisation on
economy and stalled parliament kept the participants at bay. On the technical
front, Markets are in a bear grip as Nifty closes below its 200-DMA which can
accentuate the weakness in the coming weeks. Rather index is placed below its
all major moving averages and also near its six months low. However,
momentum studies have entered an oversold state and the Put-Call ratio at 0.70
is also indicating an oversold condition that can trigger a pullback rally. For the
near term, Nifty is likely to oscillate between 8050 and 8400 and broader
markets to continue seeing pronounced bearish activity. Going forward, Nifty has
immediate support placed around 8040 followed by 8000 levels, while on higher
side immediate resistance is seen around 8200 levels. On the F&O front decrease
in OI followed by decrease in price indicates of short covering while on the
option front the maximum OI addition is seen at 8100 CE followed by 8200 CE
