SUN PATH
Sun path refers to the apparent
significant
seasonal-and-hourly
positional changes of the sun
(and length of daylight) as the
Earth rotates, and orbits around
the sun. The relative position of
the sun is a major factor in the
heat gain of buildings and in the
performance of solar energy
systems.

SUN RAY
The amount of rays of the sun in
a certain area in a certain
structure or building.

CASTED
SHADOW
A shadow is a dark area where
light from a light source is
blocked by an opaque object. It
occupies all of the threedimensional volume behind an
object with light in front of it.

S.W.O.T ANALYSIS OF THE SITE

A study undertaken by an organization to identify its internal strengths and
weaknesses, as well as its external opportunities and threats.

Strengths: characteristics of the business or project that give it an

advantage over others
Weaknesses: characteristics that place the business or project at a
disadvantage relative to others
Opportunities: elements in the environment that the business or
project could exploit to its advantage
Threats: elements in the environment that could cause trouble for the
business or project

STRENGTH
Near in public market, churches and some stores.
In addition, it is near in 2 elementary schools, 1 college school and public
market that could make the place more busy.

WEAKNESS
Small sidewalks that can't be use d by all pedestrians that compromise their
safety especially the students.
The main road is vulnerable in traffic because of narrow roads, streets and high
density of pupils attending in their school.

OPPORTUNITY
This school can build up so many business in the community because of pupils
attending their school.

THREAT
Narrow and crowded road because of street vendors and double parking that
can build up a heavy traffic.
The site is approximately 1.5 km radius from the west valley fault line.
Roads became the parking yet it is illegal to park in public roads and highways.
