The threat of the English language due to Globalisation

Languages are carriers of history and culture, and they do not need to destroy
the other to prevail. They can blend in, give and take, and coexist, each as rich
as the other.
The increased prevalence of English does threaten to hasten the demise of
smaller languages. English make the communication easier and more eficiente
for people from different regions to talk to each other, but if we continue to talk
just in English, all of that little languages will stop to be spoken.
Actually, parents sometimes want to talk to their kids in English instead of local
languages, people preferring only English movies/music/books to wait for
subtitles. Thats why nowadays, the chineses are storing new research in their
language, even their space program uses Chinese officially.
In conclusion, im not in favour of English became the only language spoken in
the world, because every language havei s history and is culture, instead of it will
stop the barriers between us.
