After the Task - Refection

Reflect upon your progress towards your goals.

Before starting any lesson we must have a plane, and in this plan we
must sit some goals we want to achieve in this lesson. I was having a
hard time trying to control the students, especially boys student, they
are hyper, active, and hard to deal with. I tried many strategies to
control them, but the head shoulder knees and toes song was useful.
Before, my goal was is to manage my time, but then I changed it to
classroom management. I have also used another strategy, it is to ask
the students to touch their heads, then nose etc while pointing on them,
then trick the students and tell them like touch your hear but instead I
would point on my eyes to see if the students are fully focused with me
or not, then the students will be quiet and I will be able to say what I
want to say. If the students were good listeners, then I will be sure that I
have achieved my goal which is the classroom management and using
facial gestures and body language.

Take some time to read through your MST/MCT report from last semester. Highlight (or take notes) on
comments which identify points of development. Choose one or two which you feel are especially important
and write them in the table. Then decide which competency it is, what you want to achieve in this area this
semester and finally note how you will achieve this.

After the Task - Refection

Reflect upon your progress towards your goals.

My MST observed me once, then she told me about the areas that I need to develop, so I sat alone
and I set few goals. The next time she observed me, I tried to achieve these goals using the
strategies I set beside my goals too. I have seen that the strategies I used helped to control my
students and to deliver the concept of the lesson to them. Also I have used samples to model them
for the students while giving them the instructions, that helped me to spend less time on
instructions, and the students were able to understand the instruction and complete the task
correctly. Finally, I have made so many activities for the students, but then my MST told me that I
must find more activities that suits with the concept of the lesson. The students need to learn
through playing because they are young, so I found a lot of games and I changed them to suit the
lesson. The students were happy with the games, and they enjoyed them.
