TREATMENT

-At the present time, there is no systematic, controlled research has been
proven to actually treat depersonalization disorder, dissociative amnesia
and dissociative fugue
(There is no exact study that is focused only towarfs the treatment of DID)
- Very little is known on how to target it directly
(Since that there is a scarcity of cimpetent studies about this sensitive
topic, not enough information regarding the treatment is readily available)
- Numerous cases are available but without the presence of control groups
that are assessed at the same time
(It is true that there are a lot of instances with similar cases of DID, but
since that there are no specific control groups that assess it properly,
there is no gauge that tackles the exact topic)
- Depersonalization and derealization disorder is generally thought to be
resistant to treatment
(patients are acting defaulty against treatments given unto them)
- Treatment is available for anxiety and depressive disorders
(There are over the counter drugs and there are a lot of therapists focused
on the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders)
- Hypnosis is sometimes used as a means to associate then reassociate
(successful execution of hypnosis can truly associate then reassociate a
patient)
- Many types of anti-depressant drugs are present
(Over the counter drugs are widely available but this must be prescribed
by the proper health care provider)
- Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is administered to reach the
feeling of a unified self and body

(Parts of the Brain are subjected to Magnetic Stimulation to let the patient
feel the unification of self and body)
- Keeping a safe environment for the patient helps in faster recovery
(The environment must not trigger the patients condition)
- It is important to have a therapist or someone to help the patient
constantly associate and sort out memory
(There must be an intervention of a person who specifies with the
treatment)
- Every treatment must be geared towards the collective merging into the
host personality and their previously separate alters
(Every treatment is done with the cooperation of the patient and the
therapist)
- Trauma handling treatments are helpful for the holistic recovery of the
patient
(The person must learn to handle trauma in order to face the future life
without the intervention od the possible threats that poses upon him)
- There is a form of hypnotism where traumatic childhood memories are
processed so the patient will be aware that these threats to them are no
longer present
(Hypnotism must be done systematically and correctly for it to work
properly. Patients must be smart in choosing who fheir therapist or health
care provider is so that the said process will work)
- The most important element is the engagement of the patient to the
therapist. The therapist should be competent and strongly committed
(The patient must believe that hebor she will be healed and that the
therapist will help in making the patient heal faster)
