Abstract

This research reports on the Solid Waste Management Program of Los Baos,
Laguna. It will impart knowledge about the background of the municipalitys
population, the geography of the place, the style of living of the residents, and the
distribution of municipal solid waste. The program is about the problems of the
municipality in solid waste, the process of waste generation, i.e. storing, collecting
and disposing of waste. This research paper also includes the municipalitys
procedures in recycling and composting. By obtaining ideas from the strategies of
the municipality, a new designed Solid Waste Management Program will be
discussed for the municipality with advantages and limitations.
