Welcome to Luxe department stores Night of Luxury gala to celebrate the opening of our first
international store location. My name is Alex Kudron and I am the Public Relations Director for
Luxe department stores. This fashion chain started as a small womens clothing store founded by
Elizabeth Luxe and Lawrence Williams in Chicago, Illinois. Since its 1906 founding, the store
has vastly expanded, but its ownership has remained in the Luxe family. Our keynote speaker
tonight has helped this company grow tremendously, while keeping this large fashion family
united. I am pleased to introduce you to fashion icon, business mogul, and my mentor Luxes
President and Chief Executive Officer Caroline Luxe.
