Children in families experiencing alcohol or

drug abuse need attention, guidance and
support.

When their parents consume alcohol, it also

affects their children as well and can lead
them to a life of alcohol.

High stress family environments are a risk

factor for early and dangerous substance use,
as well as mental and physical health
problems.

It not only leads to a life of alcohol for the

children but can also lead to physical health
problems.

Children need to trust the adults in their lives

and to believe that they will support them.

The parents must admit to doing wrong to the

child before they can be trusted by their
children.

Provides a list of programs that can help bring

alcohol peace in a family and in oneself.

It is prevalent among rich and poor, in all

regions of the country, and all ethnic and
social groups.

Alcohol addiction has no eyes. It cant see the

color of one's skin. It can be a habit picked up
by literally anyone.

Most of them have families who suffer the

consequences, often serious, of living with
this illness.

It isnt fair that you have to put your family

through pain just because you depend on
alcohol.

If someone close to you misuses alcohol or

drugs, the first step is to be honest about the
problem and to seek help for yourself, your
family, and your loved one.

If you dont have the problem and someone

else in your family does, you shouldnt be
scared to honest with them and try to help
solve the problem.
