Indonesian Societal System

Course Outline

The course introduces students to social system in Indonesia in general, including a


brief explaination about social structure and its development in Indonesia; the role
played by individual and community in the social and political spheres in Indonesia.
During the course, the students are directed to discuss about local and national issues
in Indonesia.

Attainment Objectives

The course objective is to make student having ability to understand the social
phenomenon is Indonesia and capable to analyze it. Furthermore, this course objective
is also to provide students with general knowledge and understanding on how
relations between local and national governments are vulnerable to maintain the
integration or Indonesian unity.
