Emirates Airlines CSR
The emirates airlines is committed to always work
to serve the interest of customers industry, air
travel, natural environment and destinations that
are moving the company flights to which amounted
to more than 100 destination. Whether it's in the
air r in the ground.
The greatest environment change that the
Emirates has done is the development selection
and operation of the aircraft fleet. The most
efficient in the air in terms of fuel consumption and
emission produced by aircraft remain less than any
competitor. That is of the possession of the
company's fleet is characterized by an average fuel

consumption of no more than 4 litters per hundred

passengers in every mile. This is a better rate than
most small cars. Moreover, with the entry of the
new aircraft "Airbus A 380" model to the service,
there will be a reduction in significant additional
fuel consumption and emissions from the transfer
of all passengers on Emirates The Emirates
continues to take its responsibilities in
sustainability and environmental stewardship
seriously. The airline already operates one of the
youngest - and thus one of the greenest - fleets in
the world, positioning it as a leader in
environmental best practice.
The Dubai desert conservation reserve is a project
created and driven by Emirates Airlines and the
Dubai government. Al Maha symbolizes the work of
Emirates group influencing responsibly,
sustainably, and patiently about the environment.
Addicting global policy called the environment.
Works to change behaviour and make a better
social corporate citizen. A companywide recycling
programme mean it easy for staff to recycle on a
daily bases. Engineering their airport team of
recycling and using electric vehicles at the airport.
On board it's the hunt for access weight to reduce
fuels. Across the group, staffs are involving an
environment programme. From a pilot to airport
staff yearly clean up of Dubai famous Greek to

Danata, the Emirates ground handling company.

Like Al Maha a conservation tourism efforts are
expanding.

The advantages & disadvantages of CSR

Furthermore, there are many benefits for CSR such
as developing and enhancing the relationships
between the firm with the customers and suppliers
As well to maintain and improve the company
license to activate from the local community
However, for the disadvantages, in my perspective
I think the trade organizations mainly big
businesses lean to dispute for the self_ regulation.
They would like to be free to regulate themselves,
except there is no proof that this ever works. The
necessary of a company is tremendously a
shareholder driven essential. Definitely, the law
states that it must be. Therefore, for a corporation
to recommend that it pursue self-imposed
[Corporate Social Responsibility] policy is so much
claptrap. While faced with the option among profits
and principles they will prefer profits 99%.
Therefore, government HAS to legislate to control
the powers of business and make sure that they

provide more than the contracted self-interest of

their shareholders.
