Classroom Rules
In an effort to give students more agency and to encourage them to selfregulate, we have only 3 class rules:
1. Respect Others. This means not touching what isnt yours, not speaking
when others are talking, and treating others kindly.
2. Participate In Class. The reason you are here is to learn, and the only
way to do that is to be an active part of the class. This includes doing your
homework, classwork, and being vocal in class discussions.
3. Keep the Classroom Safe. No harmful objects, words, attitudes, or
actions will be tolerated under any circumstances.

Discipline Strategies
Students who choose not to follow class rules or who blatantly disregard
class procedures will have three chances before they are sent to the office.
They will be told each time they are being disrespectful. If students are
repeatedly being sent to the office will have a meeting with myself and with
parents where a disciplinary plan will be set in to place.
