Ballet Warm-Up

Head FULL PIECE OF MUSIC

Lower and Raise (4 times)


Look right then left (4 times)
Inclines right then left (4 times)
Circles of the head (4 times right and then 4 times left)

Shoulders FULL PIECE OF MUSIC


-

Shoulders to the ears then down (4 times)


Shoulders circles (4 times forward and 4 times backward)
Shoulders to the ears then down AGAIN (4 times)
START upper back (lower neck and arms 4 times)

Mid-Spine FULL PIECE OF MUSIC

Push chest in and out (arms go forward with chest in and arms go
backward when chest is out 4 times)
Lean to the side ( 4 times right and 4 times left)
Lower neck, then arms, and back to the ground (8 counts going down),
then raise up (8 counts coming up) (4 TIMES TOTAL)

Feet Part 1 FULL PIECE OF MUSIC

Point and Flex (right foot) 8 counts


Point and flex (left foot) 8 counts
Repeat point and flex
Circle (right foot) 8 counts
Circle (left foot) 8 counts
Repeat circles

Feet Part 2 FULL PIECE OF MUSIC

Knee and foot circle (right leg) 8 counts


Knee and foot circle (left leg) 8 counts
Repeat knee and foot circle
Hip roll (right leg) 8 counts
Hip roll (left leg) 8 counts
Repeat hip roll

Full Body FULL PIECE OF MUSIC


1. Arm circles (8 in - 8 out 4 in 4 out 1 in 1out 1 in 1 out)

- Repeat arm circles


2. Arms swing in opposite direction 8 counts
-Arms swing with knee bend 8 counts
-Arms circle around (one going forward and the other backward) 16
counts
3. Sway to the right, then sway to the left
- Arms swinging right and left, while knees are bending each time and
head is looking right then left
- 8 low 8 high 4 low 4 high 1 low 1 high 1 low 1 high SPIN
- REPEAT but starting swaying to the left this time
4. Arms swinging forward then backward with knee bend
- 8 low 8 high 8 low
5. Jog on the spot while rolling your wrists 16 counts
