The Circle of Our Classroom Ms. Reents' ist Grade Classroom-Room 201: a0 to elorid ahT mxooxeeR8lDDear Parents/Guardians, Welcome to a new school year at Lamonte/Annex Elementary School! | would just like to start off by telling you a litle bit about myself. | am a recent graduate of Kean University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education Dual Certification P-3 and K-6. While at Kean | studied for two years through a clinical experience working within the daycare on campus. | also worked a part time job at the campus as well, working as a teacher assistant among the 3 and 4 year olds. Before transferring to Kean, | studied for two years at Raritan Valley Community College and graduated with an Associate's Degree In Education: P-5, Associate of Arts certification. During my third semester | took a Foundations of Early Childhood Education course where | completed 20 hours of observation at the daycare on campus. | observed in a classroom consisting of 3 and 4 year olds and also provided help in any way I could. Then in my fourth semester there | took a Field Experience in Multicultural ECE Settings course where | completed 30 hours of observation here at the Lamonte/Annex Elementary school. | observed in a 1st grade class and had the pleasure of teaching my first lesson on Anti-Bullying towards the end. 1am now very happy to be working as a registered head teacher here at Lamonte/Annex for 1st graders! | look forward to this school year and know that your child will be able to grow, learn and develop their academic and personal skills in a fun, safe and engaging environment!
