Reflection

This course has given me profound knowledge and raised my awareness on the
life situation topic of gender inequality. I personally appreciated this course because it
made me look more into the already existing unfair treatment to women in male dominant
fields. I didnt use to pay much attention to how big of an effect this problem has and can
continue to have on my life. The professor was very friendly which made the class get a
feel of comfortability as to when it comes to asking questions. Although the class only
took place on Fridays, the professor made the class interesting and fun. I looked forward
to coming to this class, unlike to most of my other courses. Working in groups helped us
as students to work on our teamwork abilities and gave us the opportunity to network
with other students with similar career fields and interests. Getting to know my
classmates has helped me not only grow as a student but also gave me the opportunity to
know them at a more personal level and get help for other classes that we have in
common. Group projects in this course definitely lean on the side of students advantage.
The class projects of this course all plotted out perfectly for each other, which made
everything simpler and more easy to focus on one thing, everything linked to the next
project. Other college courses do not work that way at all and therefore it was pleasing
coming to this course and doing the assignments. The course itself is not complicated but
it was surely a heavy amount of work. The deadlines were fairly set apart which gave us
as students enough time to work on the assignments. If I had to rate this course overall, I
would give it a perfect 5 out of 5. It was fun yet challenging, it pushed students to go out
of their way for research in a way that didnt make the students want to drink bleach.

I gained knowledge and had a great time with the projects and all of the assignments. My
favorite assignment was the documentary/commercial, my team was awesome and we
had a great time putting the video together.
