The student will identify and use the following in works of art:
1. Colorred, blue, yellow, green, orange, and violet.

The teacher will read a book of all the basic colors which will show
vibrant colors and different ways these colors can be used and
viewed. The teacher will then create a word mad on the active/smart
board of each spelling of each color that will be demonstrated in this
project.

Red
Students will have access to iPads/Tablets to drag and draw different
colors. They will create these sketches by using www.sketchlot.com
with the help of an adult or older child that is more familiar with
technology.

1. Click on Earth to get to the Internet.
2. In the search bar at the top of the screen, type
www.sketchlot.com.
3. On the left side of the screen, click on the blue box that says
login.
4. Beside the login, it says in smaller print, I am a Click the
downward arrow and click student.
5. Fill in the Class Code: Code2 and Password: 4917662 Then
click Go.
6. Once logged in, click on the left of the screen, below the My
Sketches column and click Create your first sketch OR click
in the top right corner to Create a Sketch.
7. To start, look to the very bottom left corner and click on the
black box.
8. Drag the tiny white circle from the black pit in the bottom left
corner to the top right corner up to the bright red.
9. Click on the icon that looks like a pencil/crayon. It is right
beside of the box that is now red.
10.At the top of the page, write the word Red.
11.Click back to the red box at the bottom of the screen, (Do not
click the clear button).
12.On the right side of the big red box, there are different colors.
Drag the white line at the top of those colors until you find the
color blue.
13.Click on the pencil/crayon tool.
14.Below the writing that says Red, write the word Blue.
15.Click back to the box that is now blue.
16.Along the right side of what is now a big blue box, drag the
white line until you find the color yellow.
17. Click on the pencil/crayon tool.
18.Below the writing that says Blue, write the word Yellow.
19.Follow the same steps in dragging the white line through the
colors to find green, orange, and violet.
20.Click on the pencil/crayon tool and write Green, Orange,
and Violet.
21.After project is completed, look on the top of the screen and
click Save Sketch.
22.Click home, then click Create a sketch at the top of the
page.
23.Create a drawing using the colors listed during this project.
