Reflection Paper 1

The topic Factory Farms is meaningful because knowing about the impact and
informing the audience about what is happening behind the walls of factory farms walls are
important. By writing a related paper on animals true lives I hope to persuade people to
recognize what is really happening under our nose and that we have to put a stop to this cruelty
towards animals. Educate them on the importance of lives,health and caring for this earth we live
on. Im going to educate the audience by telling them the cruel and dismal things animals go
through. Tell the true facts of how many animals are killed every year and tell the bacterial
things that are injected in the animals that human-beings are eating when they are eating meat.
I had reliable sources that helped me get the true factors of my presentation. Reading and
analyzing reliable resources like peta.org, aspca.org, and farmsantcuary.org gave me opinions
and actions of others who are against animal cruely and using animals for our own benetfits.
Researching on this topic and letting me see the thoughts of others strengthen my argument and
view on this topic. Having examples to prove my statements with. One challenge that I faced
doing this was trying to write the essay without making in my point view and writing my
thoughts and connections.
Typing this essay I didnt really learn much new information. I think I should have
chosen a typic that I didnt know more on, I chose what was connected to me. I knew a lot about
the typic. The new things I learn was environment issues caused by factory farms and the
actually dangerous bacteria humans consume when eating meat. I did learn new skills and the
ways of writing a essay. Found new resources website with reliable information and how to
know if you should or shouldnt to use a Website.
During this project I used many skills, I constructed and developed the issue. Wide view
of grammar and not narrowing it down to just a the same simple words. Things I can improve is
knowing how to timeline the essay correctly, organizing and plotting the information from the
least to the most important. I needed to consume my time better. I would say for someone who is
going to do this in the future, take the time serious. Pay attention to what its asking you to do
and good and true examples or facts to back up your statements.
