SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT:
You are a journalist for Village Daily and have been assigned the task to report on the
villages yearly lottery tradition. You are required to come up with a creative article recounting
the events and expressing your own opinion on what you see occurring. You will be using your
own recounts of what happened at the lottery as well as interviewing one more character. It is
important that you do well because your editor is looking for a well written article with an
enticing and detailed recount of the story, outside quotes, academic wording, and proper spelling
and grammar. Those who could not attend the event are counting this newspaper edition to fill
them in on the exciting time they missed out on So impress your audience!
