Mission
The purpose of our goal as a team is to contribute to the environment by reducing e-waste
and the Dream Team will work together by creating a step-by-step essay of instructions
as a guide to fix the HP Pavilion dv6-6180us laptop. The Dream Team will work together
to construct a published technical guide by researching, analyzing, and inscribing. The
guide will be submitted to iFixit, an online technical instruction manual that helps expand
individuals knowledge in how to fix anything.
Team Members & Responsibilities
Dan Mathews is the Project Manager and will be responsible for communication with iFixit
regarding the proposal and guide submissions to meet required milestones.

Michelle Pulido is the Editing Manager and is responsible for analyzing scrutinizing for
grammar, structure, punctuation, syntax, and reviewing all assignments before the due dates.

Expectations
Contribute your part to the collective project
Everyone will meet their deadlines. If one does not meet their deadline, they should inform the
group at least 24 hours in advance.
Be conscious that this is a group project and put forth best effort
Update the timesheet accordingly whenever you contribute
Work as a team (in class and out of class during set meeting times)
Be fair and distribute the workload evenly.
Communication & Team Meetings
Team meetings will take place on Thursday evenings after class around 7:00 p.m.
Resolving Conflict
If conflict arises within the group, we will ensure that everyone understands the topic
being discussed, and that there is a clear understanding of what we are disagreeing upon.
According to Markel (2013) Disagreements about the project can lead to a better
product (P.39). Once we can collectively agree to an understanding, we can then resolve
the conflict and move forward with our project.
