I was always told by my mother that I am a strong, independent, and effortless woman.

Yet in
todays society those words have become polluted, effecting the ideas and characteristics
behind them. It comes as no surprise that being gendered by others is still a problem today, and
although I am not an active feminist, I believe I have been segregated, put down, and negatively
impacted for being a woman.
