Today, we will be moving into a game! Yes, teams will be 8v8 and we will play an actual game of football!
Before I split you up, I need to explain a few rules. This is not tackle football. Can anyone remember how
we tag someone properly? Good! We use two hands, and this is called Two Hand Touch. Second, if you
are tagged, someone from the other team gets the ball from you to go the other direction. Make sense? And
Finally, a touchdown is when a student is inside the four cone box with the ball in their hands. Lets split
up into teams, here we go!
Purpose:
Students will be able to apply all they have learned into teamwork and game situations.
Start/Stop Signals: Hand up in the air to count down (this makes students put hands up and have
eyes on me by the time I count down to one).
