When completing the digital literacy assignment, I was challenged with coming up with
something that was relatable to all ages. To help overcome that challenged I created a few
different memes and had my children and sister critique my work. The assignment was very
instrumental in helping me to dig deep into my imagination and think outside the box. Youll
notice that my theme was about family and I used comedy to express my thoughts and past
experiences. As I stated in my Digital Literacy assignment Completing this assignment made
me realize that language, literacy, and writing are essential to everyday life. I also learned that
language, literacy and writing come in many forms and do not pertain to just reading and
writing. The Scavenger hunt proved that literacy comes in many forms such as the voting test
that African Americans were required to take, music literacy poster and even YouTube.
