WARNING (2) Check the moving part of the machine not to interface with each other. WARNING (3) Verify that other operators are not using the machine. DANGER (4) Verify that the doors of NC equipment and safety cover are closed. CAUTION (5) CCheck if the inside ofthe spindle taper and taper of tool holder are clean. Make sure that pull stud is securely tightened into the too! holder. WARNING ©) Check if the doors of NC unit, tape reader or machine sequence control box are securely closed. Operate the machine under the state that lubrication and oil supply for all moving area and slide is in good condition WARNING (11) Verity that the reference point return has been completed, ‘The warming up time depends on the ambient temperature, especially in| the case of lower temperature, warming up requires 30 minutes, Its ideal to warm up the machine using special program but its also good to warm up using to the program in use. WARNING (12) Checking up Check as follow during warming up a) Check the quantity of lubrication oil in the following equipments. Slideway lubrication oil tank Oil cooler Air regulator Coolant pump b) Level of lubrication oi ) Check for correct air pressure ) Lubrication of slide ways. ) Check for any abnormal noises. f) Verify the chip conveyor works normally. 4g) Verify the coolant and high pressure coolant functions normally. Turning the Main Power On 1) Tum the main power switch to “reset” in order to close the electric control cabinet 2) Turn the main power switch to ON. 3) Press the ON button at the left upper part of the operation panel. When turned ON, the screen should read “NOT READY ALARM’. 4) To de-activate the emergency stop, rotate the switch clockwise to release. C. Operation c24 f om A HUACHEON a 3. Method for movement of Axes 3-1 JOG feed of X, Y, Z Axis 1) Select Jog mode. JOG & RAPID — ba C. Operation 3.2 I = f HUEICHEOr 3-3 HANDLE Feed of X, Y, Z, Axis 1) Select Handle key. X slide feed requires Handle "X" Y slide feed requires Handle "Y" Zslide feed requires Handle 3) Select movement amount. Select the movement amount per pulse by MULTIPLY Switch. - MULTIPLY Switch has 3-position (x1, x10, x100), Turn the Handle clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. Feed speed is decided by how fast the handle is turned, Increment + _mm inch x1 0.004/1 pulse ~0,0004/1 pulse 410 0.0101 pulse 0,0010/1 pulse 4100 0.1001 pulse 0.0100/1 pulse 1) When the 4th axis is to be moved manually, make sure that the 4th axis Clamp Switch is set to OFF. When workpiece clamped on the 4th axis is to be machined by moving any of linear axes, set the 4th Axis Clamp ‘Switch to ON to clamp the 4th axis. 2) The handle must be turned slower than 5 rotations per second. When the Handle is turned faster than 5 rotations per second the actual movement amount on an axis and the amount as set by the handle rotation will not match. C. Operation C33 na HURICHEON 1 oom | 4, Zero Return Method 4-1 Manual Zero Return Perform Zero Return Operation for the Following Cases. 1) When power is supplied at the beginning of daily work. 2) When an operated incorrectly. 3) When "OT" alarm or EMERGENCY STOP button was pressed. 4-1-4 Zero Return Direction ~ X axis : "+" (plus) direction ~Y axis :"+" (plus) direction -Z axis :"+" (plus) direction 4-1-2 Zero Return Method 4) Select Jog mode. 2) Select X, Y, Z, axis of the AXIS SELECT Switch Press the "=" direction of the Jog Rapid Button. Automatic Operation 5-1. Check Prior to Automatic Operation 1) Make sure that the tools are arranged in the magazine according to the program data sheet. 2) Make sure that each axis is returned to each zero point manually after power ON, 3) Make sure that AUTO ready lamp on the main control panel is extinguished. 4) Make sure that no alarm message is displayed on the LCD unit is depressed. 5) Make sure that a tool is not in the spindle. In the presence of a tool check the LCD screen to see whether the tool number is registered on the control. If it is not registered, set the tool number according to the parameters. 6) Check and make sure the tool length offset and cutter radius compensation values are input correctly. 7) Registration of program Work programs made according to program Format are registered into NC memory. When the cycle start button is pressed, and when the lamp of the button is lit, the machine will automatically operate. Above description for the automatic operation of the machine is only meant to be a general overview for the operation of the machine tool Training from appropriate personnel will be required to successfully operate the machine. Detailed description of the controls functions can be found in the Fanuc Manuals provided with the machine. Turning the Power Off 1) Press the Emergency Stop button. If this switch is pressed, the machine maintains its suspended condition until the switch is released. 2) If the Emergency Stop push button is pressed, "1010 alarm” is shown C. POWER SWITCH 7-1 How to Turn on the Power 4) If the switch is in the TRIPPED position ~Turn it to the left toward RESET, and then to the right toward ON. 2) Ifthe switch is in the OFF position — Tum it to the right toward ON. 7-2 How to Open E/L BOX (Heavy Current Panel) 1) Tum the switch to the OFF position. 2) Then turn the switch to the RESET position and open the E/L Box. @ If the switch does not move, turn it to the RESET position first and turn it to the right toward ON. @ Tuming with excessive strength will cause damage to the switch @ BIL Box does not open during operation in order to prevent electric shock.
