Is Our Aim

How can we serve Islam? Lets find this out. Let me see, if I find these points in your

G: I said Bismillah.
M: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.
G:First we would like to know you and your Silsilah Shareef, can you inform us about that?
M: Which silsilah (chain) do you belong to? Do you have a silsilah?
G: I did not do research.
M: You asked my silsilah. Of course because we belong to Naqshbandi Tariqa we have a
silsilah. We are connected to a spiritual silsilah. Since our Prophet alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam
Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Nabi sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam, Siddiq, Salman, Qasim,
Jaffar, Tayfur, Abu l-Hasan, Abu Ali, Yusuf, Abu l-Abbas, Abdulkhaliq, Arif, Mahmud, Ali,
Muhammad Baba as-Sammasi, Sayyid Amir Kulal, Khawja Bahauddin Naqshband,
Alauddin, Yaqub, Ubaydullah, Muhammad Zahid, Derwish Muhammad, Khawja
Amkenaki, Muhammadu l-Baqi, Ahmadu l-Faruq, Muhammad Ma'sum, Sayfuddin, Nur
Muhammad, Habibullah, Abdullah, Shaykh Khalid, Shaykh Ismail, Khas Muhammad,
Shaykh Muhammad Effendi Yerawi, Sayyid Jamaluddin Ghumuqi Husayni, Abu Ahmadi sSughuri, Abu Muhammad al-Madani, Sayyid Sharafuddin Daghistani, Sayyidi wa Mawlay
Sultanul Awliya My Shaykh Abdullah ad-Daghistani Hadrat.
This is the silsilah (chain) that comes uninterrupted until today. This is our silsilah (chain).
And we have the permission to give sohbah, to give tariqa lessons, to give dhikr, to make
people do dhikr, seclusion, purification. We also have permission to train mureeds, shaykhs
and preachers (scholar).
G: We would like to know your ideas about Konya and Mawlana(Rumi)
M: MashaAllah Konya is such a city that both world leaders, and spiritual sultans choose.
When we say world leaders we mean the rulers, sultans who have sultanates ruling over
countries. Konya is a holy, beautiful land which was also chosen by sultans of the spiritual
world and sultans of the hereafter. Very few cities or lands have this quality and deserve this
praise. We can describe only a few Anatolian cities or towns like this - such as Bursa and
Amasya or cities, places like Islambol we can describe like this. However, Konya holds a
special place and rank among these cities.

G: What about Mawlana?

M: Mawlana no doubt is a Sultan, who rests in Anatolia. After the Sahabas, with his high
rank among the awliyas, he gives this city light. He and his followers, the people of Allah, he
is a wasila (means) to bring down blessings on this beautiful city continuously. May Allah
sanctify his secret and let his support reach us.
G: What is the most important message Mawlana gave to the world?
M: It is to unite. To meet in the love of Allah and to unite. The message that servant is giving
us is the reality that Quran Karim and Hadith Sharif gave us. Because he lived according to
Quran and Hadith Shareef. Of course we find the most perfect form in Rasulullah sallAllahu
alaihi wa sallam. Then we find the awliya following his sunnah. He is a star in the heavens of
reality, whose light is increasing and shining among the followers of the Prophet (sas).
Mawlana Jalaluddin-i Rumi, may Allah raise his rank.
G: You are abroad quite often, how do you see Turkey from there?
M: Should we flatter now?
G: Whatever it looks like...
M: It does not look good. It does not have good grades.
G: What do you mean by bad grades?
M: Ask IMF. IMF is an institution, that tells their point of view about economics, finance and
money. Their view about Turkey is not good. We leave their view to them. If we leave it to
them or not, we cannot change anything. But from their point of view Turkey is not doing
well. Lets look at it from a Muslim's point of view. None of the Muslim countries like the
current situation of Turkey. Why? Since 70 years Turkey disconnected from the Islamic
world. Disconnected itself. And all its hopes, desires and targets, are to join Christian Europe.
For this reason the Islamic World is offended by Turkey. That's how I see the situation from
outside. The Christian world had seen Turkey in a negative way for a long time. Christian
countries do not have any positive ideas about Turkey. Islamic countries also do not have
positive ideas about Turkey. So, we cannot either take the Christian world on our side, we
could not convince them to accept us, nor can we make the Islamic world happy with us.
Although today Turkey does not care about the Islamic world. It is a wrong policy. Because
only the Muslims are our friends, now and in the future. Christians cannot be our friends,
now or in the future. They will understand this.
G: What is your view about Bosnia and what are your efforts within your community?

M: Bosnia is not a bleeding wound, it is a body part of Islamic world, bleeding like a river.
Our hearts are bleeding because of the barbarity of the so-called Christians, who are actually
non-believers. But our hands are tied, our feet are tied, our mouths are shut, our eyes are tied.
We cannot move in any way. Unfortunately the whole Islamic world is watching and they are
extremely indifferent to Bosnia. No helping hand, not even moving their tongue to help.
They can at least say something by words, like - "O Serbian non-believers what are you
doing? Do you want us to stand up? Are you trying to finish off Islam? We are here. If we
stand up, we crush you and your supporters." "Even if you do not rain, make some thunder"
they say. They don't do that either. The Islamic world is imprisoned.
G: Do you make any efforts as a community to help Bosnia?
M: As much as we can. We are supporting as much as we can everywhere. But unfortunately
the media, some high-ranking newspapers, instead of supporting this aid campaign for
Bosnia, they try to stop people, who want to help. And make them give up supporting and
helping. Most of all they try to stop the Refah Party members, who help the Bosnian Muslims
a lot. And I pray Allah to make them successful. Their media is not ours, our media is trying
to put them down all the time. They accuse the leaders of this political party, who are afraid
of Allah (are pious). They accuse them of treachery. But the accusations they say will turn
against them because the help effected by that party is reaching to Bosnia. My heart is in
peace an sure about this. When the media says that Refah Party is taking all this money and
spending it to strengthen the party, it is all lies and false. They send even the smallest amount
of money to Bosnia.
G: You also have Cyprus dispute. What do you think about Cyprus dispute and how do you
see the Cypriots approach to Islam?
M: What can we do? There are people in Cyprus, who are following wrong ways. They all
hold important positions. Unfortunately the Minister of Education is obviously a leftist. What
do you expect from such a country? How can you make this a national ideal? If you give the
children of Cyprus, to a minister, who is a leftist in every respect, how can you solve the
problems on the Island of Cyprus? I'm asking this and telling it to Mr. Denktash. Because Mr.
Denktash signed it also. A leftist person to be the Minister of Education. Denktash has a
reputation of being a religious person, mashaAllah to his religious identity. Ok.
G: We all know that the spiritual leader of the Catholics the Pope looks quite close to Islam,
can you comment on this?
M. It seems that today the Christians will run to Islam's reality and accept it before the
Muslims. When we say Islam's reality it is the holy Quran. The Christian world will run to
Islam before the Muslims, they will run to the Quran, they will accept the Quran. The
Islamic world is saying secularism, democracy, socialism, capitalism, this and that... They will
be finished running after those. Write it like this. Don't worry.

G: How are the footsteps of Islam in Europe?
M: The sound of its footsteps is coming very strongly from whole world. The hearts of the
enemies of Islam are trembling with fear. They cannot sleep at night.
G: Lastly, do you have a message for the Islamic world because of the 3 holy months?
M: Congratulations. With the divine manifestation in this holy month, I hope we reach a
power that will destroy falsehood. I pray Allah Almighty to destroy falsehood in the world.
Not local, Not regional.
G: What is the significance of tasawwuf in Islam? M: First place. Islam without tasawwuf is
like a body without a soul, it is unacceptable. Tasawwuf is purification of the heart. In Islam it
came to make mankind humans. Islam targets the hearts of the people. When the heart is
correct, the body is also correct. When the heart is corrupt, the whole body breaks down.
Tasawwuf deals with the heart. The orders of Allah Almighty are very clear, only the blind
cannot see. The ignorant cannot understand. May Allah not make us one of them. Denying
tasawwuf is denying the reality of Islam.
G: What do you think about the interest-free Islamic finance laws? G: What do you think
about the interest free Islamic finance laws?
M: There are no Islamic laws now, what will we think? Is there Islam in this time? If it is the
law of the government we have to listen to it. We give and take the paper in our pockets. If
there is Shariah, paper is not accepted. Why do you ask the bank? Why do you ask for
interest? The money in our pockets what is written on them? Have a look. If you put it in
water it dissolves, if you tear it is torn. if you put it on fire it burns, you cannot trade with it.
Shariah does not accept it. It is worthless it says. It is written Central Bank on it. There is
interest in that bank?
G: Yes.
M: Finished. Is there anyone who does not get interest? If it is interest.
G: What do you think about Refah Party's success lately and all the fuss the media makes?
M: Of course they say that fear is filthy. It is not fear from Refah. They fear the power that
pushes the Refah Party to the arena. It is not Refah Party. If Refah goes, that power will find

another group. Closing Refah or finishing it will not stop that pushing power. They fear
Refah because Refah represents Islam or will represent Islam. As long as the pushing power
exists if Refah goes, another one comes instead. Somebody else will take over. So what they
do is useless. Media can shout as much as they want. They can close Refah Party.
Immediately there will come a group, which will represent those people. It will be faster. Now
it will be as a metaphor but we have to tell it - May Allah protect us - the cancer disease. The
doctors insist on operating mostly. They want to clean it if not it is a cause of death. They
remove the breasts of so many people. Six months later under that organ that they think is
cleaned by operation, the cancer spreads in such a way inside the body that the doctors say
this time it is over. It spreads to whole body. If they make an operation for Refah, with these
or those allegations they should know that they will face something five times worse than this,
in a short time. Hundred times worse they will face problems and they will be helpless. They
will see it spreading, exploding, expanding, resisting in an uncontrollable way. I'm not talking
about predictions. But this is experience. This is wisdom. People understood that they have
been deceived until today. They move away from the ones, who deceived them. "We will not
be deceived from now on" they say. When the lies of the liars, or the deceit of the deceivers is
known, people run away from them. Propaganda is an institution based on lies. For 70 years
they promised that they would give people welfare and peace. Please tell me what did they
give us? Are these people happy, are they comfortable? Does this country have more
credibility? Is the internal dispute over? Are we more respectable on an international
platform?
G: Not at all.
M: That means they did not succeed. Although they could not do it, why do they interfere
with Refah? People are tired of these. People are tired of liars, it is over. "Give us some time"
they say. Even if we give you time, if you follow the same path, if you do not change your
direction, things will get worse, not better. I can say this to the President, to the Prime
Minister, or whoever. We are already saying it. If they have answers I'm also ready. It is in
front of us. You are young. You all live in this country. Is there peace, is everything going
well, did we reach the top, are there people without debts and people not in difficulty, is there
no unemployment, are there no ignorant people, are there are no homeless people, is our
currency equal to the dollar...? Seventy years ago 1 banknote was 1 sterling, 1 banknote was 2
dollars. What does it mean? It is going up or down? Even the idiots know. It means we are
deceived. Still they are troubling Refah. People are looking for trustworthy leaders. If they
find them in Refah, they will vote for Refah. If they find them in DYP, they will vote for
DYP. If they find it in a basket, they will vote for the basket. So they will vote wherever they
find trustworthy ones. But they won't vote for deceivers. Muslims cannot be deceived from
now on.
G: Do you have a last message for Vakit Newpaper readers?
M: Nice. They brought it to me once. They printed an article praising me. After that we
cannot find such newspapers here. There are nonsense ones here. Muslims, Muslims should

be awake. They should know well the people, who are serving Muslims. Muslims should
unite. Keep your services on this path. Allah help you. People, who try to divide, Allah does
not let them succeed. I want any activity that brings our nation's real honour, our ideals and
aims, towards uniting as a nation and giving credibility to Muslims. A nation without any aim
is dead. A nation without an ideal is at zero level. A person, without an aim is useless. What is
our aim? Nothing. Cyprus dispute case. This is the aim.
