Cross Tabulation between Use Life and Disposition Behavior of Two-wheeler

The cross tabulation between use life and disposition method is shown below which can be used
to study the distribution of disposition behavior as per the use time of Two-wheeler.

The table shows that most of the Two-wheelers which have been used for more than 8 years were
given to the family or friends or stored at home. More than half of the Two-wheelers used for
more than a year and less than 8 years were sold in the secondary market. Two-wheelers used for
less than 8 years were exchanged more in compare to the Two-wheelers which were older than 8
years.

A hypothesis was set and tested using the chi-square test in order to examine the possible
relationship between use life and disposition behavior. For this, the following null hypothesis has
been tested.
H1: There is no significant association between use life and disposition behavior of Twowheeler.
Chi- square test between use life of Two-wheeler and disposition behavior was performed to
analyze if there is any possible relationship between the use life and the disposition behavior
used by the respondents to dispose their old Two-wheeler.

The result above shows the chi-square value of 59.156 with the significance value of 0.000,
which means that there is significant association between use life and disposition behavior of
Two-wheeler at 1 percentage of significance, as we reject Hypothesis 1. So, we can conclude that
the user shows definite disposition behavior of Two-wheeler with respect to the use life.
