Scalable Real-Time Monitoring For Distributed Applications
Scalable Real-Time Monitoring For Distributed Applications
SYSTEM ANALYSIS
EXISTING SYSTEM
Existing system for monitoring the distributed system using the Distributed Aggregation
Tree (DAT) technique. For monitoring, previous work used DAT is rooted at each monitor. This
existing approach leads to high monitoring delay, network performance.
DRAWBACK IN EXISTING SYSTEM
High monitoring delay
Network stress
EXISTING TECHNIQUE
Distributed aggregation Tree (DAT)
PROPOSED SYSTEM
Our proposed system using two steps for monitoring: first, client applications report
their performance to some proxies by means of a client overlay, and then the
proxies report the performance to the distributed monitors using another proxy
overlay. Then we present a efficient and scalable monitoring algorithm called SMon,
which continuously reduces network diameter in real time in a distributed manner.

SMon (Scalable Monitoring)

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
Our project using SMon algorithm deploys scalable monitoring
in real time. It monitors in efficient way than the existing techniques which will be
shown experimentally as performance metrics.
