Her gentle nature and caring towards all the students created a calm and safe atmosphere within the classroom Throughout the practicum, she was always planned and ready to teach. Her lessons were always thoughtfully planned. She was able to try new activities with the students and continually reflected upon which activities were successful and which needed to be changed. Any suggestions given by myself or her faculty supervisor were immediately implemented into the next lesson. Her confidence improved greatly over the five week practicum. She was able to keep excellent control of the students in all subject areas, including floor hockey! Maggie's professionalism was excellent within the classroom and throughout the school Many staff members commented upon her friendliness and professional behavior. Her appearance and clothing were always appropriate. | have truly enjoyed Maggie as a student teacher. There are many techniques and ideas that she used in the classroom that | will continue once she has gone. Any school system will be lucky to hire her once she graduates with her teaching degree Suggestions! Areas for Growth: Maggie needs to remember to be confident.
