The Cleansed

Setting- narrator tells us that he is on the road, camping and boating. Need of
survival, destroyed civilization- cant remember having tv, radio and electronics.
(long space of time)
Characterisation- Voiceover explaining things and what is happening in the story.
American accent,
Speech and words- lots of pauses, sounding worried and panicked. Voice
distortion when he wakes up changing setting, talking to his friend reveals plot
and where they are going.
Music- Fast paced si-fi music. Cyberpunk type music.
Silence- Silence after he says something important making him seem worried
and as if he doesnt like to think or talk about it.

Horror: a blind mans confession

Setting- On a road going very fast (car noises and fast music) dark gloomy night
from lightening sound effects.
Characterization- confidence, show off, nearly gets killed: shows his weaker side.
Speech and words- speaks harshly and fast. Describes surroundings and setting,
giving image (rocks and water)
Music-fast paced music when in car, atmospheric type of music.
Silence-silence with heartbeat showing he could be nearly dead.
