AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS
I, JOENALYN MAE G. GALANG, of legal age, Filipino, single and a resident of
Bonifacio 8th , Digos City, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law,
depose and state:
1. That I am the same person that caused this affidavit;
2. That on September 5, 2016 at around 5:00 in the afternoon I was also in Claire
Salon 2 the place where accused Rolanda Stoney Dela Rosa was arrested;
3. That when she was about to enter the salon two unidentified men in civilian
clothes (who later identified themselves as policemen) on board a motorcycle suddenly
stopped;
4. That I saw that one of the policeman talked to the accused then suddenly she
was handcuffed and I noticed that the other policeman secretly and insistently gave the
buy bust money to the accused;
5. That after insisting the buy bust money to the accused the other policeman also
secretly put a white crystalline in the pocket of the accused;
6. That I was sure of what I saw during the incident because I was near the door of
the salon;
7. That when one of the policeman man secretly put the white crystalline
substance the accused was not able to notice it because there was then a commotion that
happened since the people in the near basketball court immediately went in the incident;
8. That I executed this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts and
to support the dismissal of the criminal case against Rolanda Stoney Dela Rosa for
violation of Section 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165.
