Raindance Film Festival


Raindance Film Festival invites UK and International producers and filmmakers
to submit their films to its 25thedition that will take place from 20th September
to 1st October 2017 in central London.
The Raindance Film Festival aims to show the very best in new cinema from
the UK and around the world and specialises in first-time directors and
discovery.
Vibe Productions would like you to produce a music
video for 2017 entry.

Music videos must be under 6 minutes.

Your music video must be completed and


submitted by Friday 3rd February 2017.

The Festival accepts feature films (over 45


min.), short films (under 45 min.), music videos
(under 6 min) VR films (under 45min) and web
series. Projects of all lengths and genres are
welcomed and the Raindance Film Festival is
committed to showing the boldest and most innovative
work, and films that challenge the boundaries of filmmaking.

Submissions are reviewed and selected under the following criteria:


- Quality of narrative and production values.
- Independent nature of the production.

The Fine Print

You must each produce your own music video using the
following guidelines:
Each group must originate and produce their own idea
Music Videos must be no longer than 6 minutes
Musts not suggest any drug use
Songs must not contain any unnecessary / excessive bad language

You can produce a music video for commercial / signed artists. However, if
you wish for it to be submitted into the festival, you must produce your video
for smaller artists who do not already have available music videos.

Prior to shooting your production, you must submit the following:
Context
Research
Planning
o Shooting Script
o Storyboard
o Location Recces for ALL locations
o Call Sheet
o Props / costume / equipment
o Clearances / permissions to use the song

Raindance Film Festival will be taking mise-en-scene, editing, relation of video


to the lyrics and appropriateness to the genre all into consideration when
deciding on their award winners. Make it original and creative, dont just stick
to the norm.
