BREAD & WINE:

Sarahs Red Wine Hot Chocolate


RECIPE:
2/3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (non dairy chocolate
chips will also work)
2/3 cup Pinot Noir
1/3 cup whole milk (or coconut, almond, or cashew milk)
cup half and half (if you're non-dairy, coconut creamer also works)
2 table spoons sugar (optional: if you're using a really dry wine, you might want to
add the sugar at the end for a little bit of sweetness.)
teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of sea salt cinnamon or orange zest mini marshmallows or whipped cream (or
non dairy whipped cream)
DIRECTIONS:
1) combine the wine and chocolate chips in a sauce pan over low heat and whisk
until combined
2) whisk in milk of choice and half and half or coconut creamer until combined
3) remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt
4) pour into mugs and top with either mini marshmallows and a sprinkle of cinnamon
or whipped cream and orange zest.
Makes 4 servings
