Why is the war began?

The American War of Independence (17751783)


began as a war between
the Kingdom of Great Britain and thirteen British colonies in North America, and
ended as a global war between several European countries. The war is began
because the Americans didn't want to suffer English army and they didn't want to buy
everything what British couldn't sell in the UK.

Against British were the French,Germans and Spaniards. They were against England
because they wanted to weaken English impact. They gave Americans army
weapons (guns and rifles), food, medicine and soldiers.

End of the war


The most important battle was at Yorktown 14/8/1783. The British experienced a
big defeat and they were forced to capitulate.
But the war wasn't still over because British had 30 000 soldiers in New York and
Philadelphia. After 15 days they were forced to capitulate in New York and then they
capitulate in Philadelphia. The war ended in Paris 3/9/1783.

Consequences
65 000 peoples were killed; 25 000 Americans and 40 000 British.
Most of them died of diseases. A lot of people died in captivity. The war ended but
lots of people had no home. For Americans reneval took 7 years and for British 12
years.
