CIRCULAR
A meeting was held on 1st August, 2016 at the office of Commissioner, Technical Education,
Gandhinagar, under the Chairmanship of Dr. Jayanti Ravi (Commissioner & Principal Secretary,
Rural Development, Government of Gujarat), wherein it was decided that GTU will provide a
platform to the students who wish to participate in the Swachh Bharat Mission.
GTU has appointed two centralized coordinators : (1). Dr. Chaitanya Sanghvi (Professor, Applied
Mechanics Department, L.D. College of engineering, Ahmedabad, contact no. 9428350436) and
(2) Dr. Chetan Bhatt (Principal, Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar, contact no.
9427624727) for the Swachh Bharat Mission.
It is advised to all the coordinators of the Bridge Course Activities for 1st semester of Bachelor of
Engineering (BE) and N.S.S. coordinators to coordinate with the above mentioned centralized
coordinators for Village Visit and undertake activities under Swachh Bharat Mission. They are
advised to give details of the name of village where visit is planned, date of visit of this village
and name of student volunteers visiting the village and undertaking activities under Swachh
