In order to build powerful alternators, you need to start with powerful magnets. We just
can't say enough about how impressed we are with these magnets. The performance is not
only from the strong N42 grade...but also from the SHAPE and surface area. The wedge
shape has more area and produces a more desireable wave-form than any other magnet we
have tested. In short...this is the only magnet we would consider for a powerful axial flux
alternator from 9" to 14" rotors.
They will out perform the rectangular shaped 2" x 1" magnets at TWICE the THICKNESS!
This is because these swept-arc magnets have 15% more surface area over the rectangles.
