We are offering you the rare opportunity to study at the Joffrey Ballet School. The Joffrey Ballet School has been cultivating dancers for over 60 years. Our track record,of producing professional dancers, choreographers, studio ‘owners and professionals in the industry is unsurpassed. Our graduates are currently dancing with companies across the United States, including Boston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Nevada Ballet, Complexions & Ballet West! The Joffrey Ballet School creates dancers. Be prepared to work hard, dance hard and embrace your individual greatness. Enrolling in the Trainee Program isa lifealtering decision for both yourself and'your family. Itnot only requires a commitment of your time and talents, but 2 financial commitment from your family. We do our-absolute best to work with all families to make the program a possibilty. We have awarded over $750,000 in Trainee scholarships‘and financial aid during the 2015 ~2016 academic year. ‘Our Trainee's are also offered the opportunity to study with us during the summers at a greatly reduced rate. After a Trainee ‘completes their frst year in the program they can attend any domestic summer program for only $75 a week for tuition. This weekly price is offered to them for every summer in between their years of study at the school. This is an incredible savings ‘over the regular summer tuition costs and it offers our students the opportunity to study at over 15 unique programs we offer ‘across the country. The tour includes an in person conversation with Michael Blake the Artistic Director, a full day of classes with our current trainees, a walk through of the studios and finally the housing facilities. You can attend class for a day or an entire week. Tours can be scheduled Monday ~ Friday from 9am — Spm. The registration process begins by submitting the electronic registration form. This form includes the registration form, financial aid application and merit application. Applications will be processed starting in March. If you submit your application after March results will be emailed to you within 2 weeks of submission. The award letter will outline what financial aid and merit you are eligible for. You are not committed to the program until you sign and return your award letter.
