from Good to Great

As our team at the Republic-Monitor assembled

this tribute to The Bank of Missouri, I was

reminded of a book I read more than 10 years ago.

Good to Great by Jim Collins was a number one
bestseller. Collins and his research team set out to
discover the universal characteristics that cause
a company to go from good to great. He outlines
those characteristics in his book.
If you have read Good to Great then you will
understand why I believe The Bank of Missouri
meets the benchmarks Collins and his team
identify as standards for greatness. Perry County
is fortunate The Bank of Missouri decided to go
from Good to Great right here at home.
