01. Under which categories / uses does the DJB give sanction for water supply? What are the
categories of consumers with DJB?
DJB sanctions water connections to consumers under four classifications/categories depending upon
the nature of the use of premises or use of water: 1. Category-A (Domestic):- For Domestic Purpose.
2. Category-B (Non-Domestic/Mixed):- Mainly used for domestic purpose but having such
commercial activity in part of property where non intensive use of water is there.
3. Category-C (Commercial/Industrial):- Such premises where extensive use of water like Dhaba,
Restaurants and Factories etc. exists.
4. Category D:- Property having area > 2000 Sq Yards having rainwater harvesting/waste water
recycling or both.
02. Which type of consumers are covered under Category-A (Domestic) ?
Following are the examples of connections under the Category-A (Domestic) :1. Premises used for residence.
2. Hostels of Educational Institutions of the Government, working womens hostels run by the
Government.
3. Govt. recognized destitute homes, orphanage, charitable homes, blind schools, Schools for physically
handicapped persons, spastic children.
4. Piaos meant for drinking purposes.
5. Place of worship, cremation grounds, cemetery.
03. Which type of consumers are covered under Category-B (Mixed Use)?
1. Applicable to the residential premises where commercial use co-exists in the part of premises and
the water use is non-intensive such as in case of Kiryana shop, stationery shop, telephone booth etc.
2. Not applicable in case of residential premises where water use is intensive like in case of sweet meat
shop, Dhaba etc. being run in the part of the residence.
04. Which type of consumers are covered under Category-C ?
All other category of consumers who are not covered either in DOMESTIC CATEGORY (CATEGORY-I) or
MIXED USE CATEGORY (CATEGORY-IA)
05. Which type of Consumers are covered under Category-D?
For properties having 2000Sq. yards or more plot size area, provision of 10% rebate on total bill
amount if any of the two services i.e. Rain Water Harvesting or Waste Water Recycling exist in
functional form and 15% if both exists, which is required to be certified as functional by the ZE
concerned.
06. If in a residential property, there is also non- residential use of the property, would the DJB still
charge the consumer at domestic rate?
It will depend upon the use of water. If non intensive use of water is there in commercial activities, DJB
will treat it under Cat. IA e.g. office of property dealers, shops, Atta Chakki, doctors clinic etc.
07. In Group Housing Societies, does the DJB sanction individual household connections?
No individual water connection in group housing society.
08. Are all the water connections required to have meters?
Yes, as DJB intends for 100% metered supply.

09. In the case of un-metered connections, what is the basis of the billing?
For un-metered connections, the department charges at a flat rate of consumption of 22 Kl per month
for domestic use. In Rural areas @ 22 KL per month and 10 KL per month per floor in JJ resettlement
colonies. If the meter read average or the previous consumption is not available, then the billing will
happen on the basis of plot area which is 22 KL for less than or equal to 200 sq yards, and 33 KL for
more than 200 Sq yards for domestic category only.
10. Is it essential that meters are installed by the DJB only? From where can I get my own meter
installed? Which are the permissible meters?
A meter can be installed by the consumer also by purchasing meters of specifications as permitted by
the DJB.
11. What are the specifications of the approved meters?
The specification of approved / permissible domestic meters are: - 15mm, class B, multi-jet, inferential
type, magnetically coupled conforming to the IS: 779/1994 and the body of the meter shall be brass/
bronze as per IS: 779/1994. Meter should have the Manufacturer's Test Certificate and Test Certificate.
12. Who can apply for new water connection?
Any resident of Delhi - Owner of premises/Tenant/Occupier who has valid identity as proof of
residence/ownership.
13. What are the requirements for sanction of new water connection?
Any resident of Delhi can apply for water connection to DJB (except in the area under the control of
NDMC and Delhi Cantonment Board) subject to the following conditions: The colony where the applicant resides should have been taken over by the DJB for water supply.
It is technically and legally feasible to supply water.
The applicant should have proof of residence like Ration Card, Voter's Identity Card, Ownership proof
or NOC from the owner of the house, if the applicant is tenant / occupier.
The premises for which the water connection is applied for must have no arrears of previous dues on
account of water charges etc.
14. Where can one get an application form for new water connection?
The application form is available at every office of Zonal Revenue Officer of DJB (Annexure I') at a
nominal fee of Rs.10 towards the cost of the form and processing fee. One can visit DJB consumer portal
from where the form can also be downloaded. At the time of depositing the payment for new
connection, Rs. 10/- is required to be deposited along with it if the form is downloaded from the site.
The application forms can be submitted, on all working days in the office of concerned Zonal Revenue
Officer.
15. Can a person obtain more than one water connection for the same premise?
Yes, subject to technical and legal feasibility.
16. What are the charges for obtaining a new water connection?
The following charges are required to be paid at the time of sanction of water connections: (i) Opening fee Rs. 250/(ii) Water Advance Domestic Rs. 100/-Non-domestic
(a) Water connection of size 15mm Rs. 200/(b) Water connection of size 25mm and above Rs.1000/(iii) Occupier Security (In case of tenant/occupier)
Category-A (Domestic) Rs. 250/Category-B (Mix Used) Rs 250/Category-C (Non-Domestic) Rs 500/Category-D Rs. 500/(iv) Road Restoration Charges depending upon the road length that is required to be cut.
(v) Meter security if meter is provided by the department.

(vi) Trade Security in case of non-domestic category connection.


(vii) Water Development charges, wherever applicable. Villages and bonafide residents of extended
area of village under Lal Dora are exempted from depositing development charges for domestic use.
Besides villages, re-settlement colonies are also exempt from payment of development charges.
17. What is a Bulk Connection?
Any connection of ferrule size of more than quarter of an inch is technically known as a bulk
connection. A bulk connection is a connection where a numbers of houses are given a common
connection having a larger ferrule size.
Where more than 6 dwelling units are in existence on a premise, only bulk water connection is
sanctioned.
18. What is the procedure for obtaining a bulk water connection for Group Housing Societies etc?
A Bulk Water Connection can be applied on the same form as for individual water connection. However,
Bulk water connections for the premise on a plot size of 200 Sq. mtr. to 500 Sq mtr. is to be applied at
ZRO office and infrastructure charges is worked out by JE, Water Emergency of that particular zone.
A Bulk Water Connection for a plot size of 500 Sq mtr. and above is to be applied along with sanctioned
plan of the building. It will be approved by the Engineer Incharge concerned, subject to approval of the
sanction by the Planning Division situated at Varunalaya Complex Phase-I, Jhandewalan, Karol Bagh of
DJB and deposition of Infrastructure Charges. The application for new bulk water connection is to be
submitted in the office of the area ZRO office.
19. What is the procedure for regularization of unauthorized water connections?
On payment of the following charges, an unauthorized water connection can be regularized, subject to
the technical legal feasibility and a payment of following charges: Penalty of Rs.3000/-.
Water Charges for the respective Category for the past three years.
Water Development Charges, wherever applicable.
Usual initial charges such as opening fee, water advance and Road Restoration Charges etc.
20. Whom should I approach for getting the un-authorized connection regularized?
The office of the Zonal Revenue Officer of the area can be approached for applying for regularization of
unauthorized connection.
21. Does the DJB charge any rent towards installation of meter? What is the amount?
In case, the meter is provided by the DJB, a rent is chargeable. In case, the meter is private owned, no
rent is chargeable. The meter rent for different categories of connections is different. The rent is
payable for functional meters on monthly basis and is included in the water bill of the consumer.

22. How many days are allowed for making payment of water bill charges?
The due date for making payment is shown in the bill and in case of default, surcharge is also to be paid.
Normally, 15 days time is allowed for making payment from the bill date.

23. My meter has gone defective. Can I get a new meter installed in its place?
A meter has to be declared defective by the office of the Zonal Revenue Officer and the same is indicated
in the water bill. Once a meter installed by the DJB is declared defective, a consumer can apply for
rectification / replacement of the meter to the ZRO and the same will be rectified / replaced by the ZRO.
In case of a private meter, the information about the defective meter can be sent to the ZRO who in turn
will get it declared so on inspection and the replacement of the meter will be the responsibility of the
consumer.
Every time, a new meter is installed in place of the defective meter with prior intimation, the consumer
should give immediate information to the ZRO so that initial reading of the new meter along with date
of replacement can be noted by the meter reader for billing purpose.
24. What is the procedure of testing of water meter?
(a)
The consumer may request the ZRO to get his water meter tested on paying meter testing fee if
in his opinion, it fails to register the consumption. The cost of testing shall be borne by the consumer
and the ascertained overcharge if any, shall be adjusted in the water bills of the consumer for the
preceding billing cycle only. In case of an under charge, the consumer shall be liable to pay the
difference for the preceding billing cycle only. A marginal error of per cent shall be ignored.
(b)
If the water meter supplied by the Board is found to be defective, the testing fee shall be
adjusted in the forthcoming bill.
(c)
The ZRO may order for testing of any meter at any point of time when he has reason to doubt
the accuracy of the meter.

24. I am not satisfied with the meter reading. Whom should I approach?
The area ZRO should be contacted. There is a provision of special reading after paying an amount of Rs.
20/-.
25. What are rates for meter security? Is it refundable?
Water Meter Security is charged in case of meters provided by DJB. The consumer can obtain DJB's
water meter against security amount as given below:SIZE OF METER SECURITY 15 mm Rs.400/- Meter security of size above 15mm to 300mm as per the
actual cost of water meter to the Board, which will be recovered in equated installment spread over a
period of three years.
At the time of surrender of water connection/meter, the meter security is refunded to the consumer.
26. Where is the application form for sewerage connection available and where is it to be
submitted?
The application form is available at the office of every Zonal Revenue Officer/ Zonal Engineer
(Drainage) of DJB at a nominal fee of Rs.10/-. The form can be submitted on all working days in the
office of concerned Zonal Engineer (Drainage). The same can be downloaded from the DJB's website.
27. What are the formalities and procedures for sanction of sewerage connection?
The sewer connection is sanctioned only in areas where sewerage services are available. The consumer
is required to fill the application form and deposit the same along with proof of residence in the office
of the concerned Zonal Engineer (Drainage), along with connection charges of Rs. 100/- plus road
restoration charges @ Rs. 1600/- for domestic and Rs. 3200/- for non-domestic connection. The
applicant is also required to deposit sewerage development charges, wherever applicable.
28. What is the normal billing Cycle?
The normal billing cycle for domestic connection is bi-monthly, whereas for bulk connection, it is on
monthly basis.

29. What are the charges raised in the water bill?


Following charges are raised in the water bill: (i) Water Consumption Charge: - Based on the volumetric consumption on monthly basis.
(ii) Service Charge: - Fixed access charges as per the slabs based on the monthly consumption.
(iii) Sewerage Maintenance Charge @ 60% of (i) above, subject to existence of sewer connectivity in the
area.
(iv) Meter Rent if meter has been installed by the DJB.
(v) Pollution Cess Charge @ .02 paisa per kiloliter as fixed by the Central Pollution Control Board.
(vi) Arrears, if any.
(vii) Surcharge, if payment is not deposited within stipulated time.
(viii) Other charges as specified in the bill.

31. What is Water Consumption charge?


It indicates the charges for volumetric consumption of water for the period as indicated in the bill,
determined on the basis of consumption of 30 days of the consumer.

32. What is the rate of Water Consumption charge as per the present tariff?

In the existing tariff, the rates of Volumetric charge have been structured on the basis of
consumption of water on monthly basis and depend on the category and consumption.
33. What is the amount of Sewerage Maintenance Charge?
60% of water consumption charge is recovered as Sewerage Maintenance Charge from colonies/areas
where sewer lines have been made functional.
34. What is Water Cess Charge?
It is a charge being levied by the Central Government under Water (Prevention and Control of
Pollution) Cess Act 1977. Presently it is being charged @ 2 paise per Kl.
35. What is the rate of Late Payment Surcharge?
5% surcharge is levied if payment is not made within the due date as indicated in the bill. Surcharge is
payable on the total amount due.
36. Is water free upto a certain consumption level?
No. As per the tariff.
37. What is the criteria for raising of water bill if water meter stops functioning?
If the consumer meter had remained functional for last 12 months, then consumer will be billed on the
average consumption of that 12 months period till new meter is installed/ fixed by DJB, otherwise for
un-metered connections, the department charges at a flat rate of consumption of 22 Kl per month(for
area less then 200 sqm.) & 33 KL per month (for area more than 200 sqm.) for domestic use. In Rural
areas @ 20 KL per month and 10 KL per month per floor in JJ resettlement colonies.
38. What are misuses of water?
Use which is not permitted for the purpose for which the connection has been sanctioned would be
treated as misuse. The use of water for construction of building without prior information and
permission of the Delhi Jal Board is also a serious misuse of water.

39. What are the rates of water charges for construction purposes (Cost of water) for residential
buildings?
Rs. 10/- per cubic meter of cubical contents of the building subject to minimum charges of Rs. 3500/per floor.
Besides above, the water charges for the period the building remains under construction shall
be recovered as under:A. In case a consumer utilize Board water for minor alteration/construction like plastering of walls,
roofs, floors, fixation of wall and floor tiles, after advance intimation to the ZRO concerned, the
consumer is liable to pay the cost of water on
following rates:1. For Janta/LIG flats or plot area upto 40 sq.m.(for single floor) Rs.2,500/2. For MIG/HIG or plot area upto 80 sq.m.(for single floor) Rs.4,000/3. For plot area from more than 80 sq.m. to less than 200 sq.m.(for single floor) Rs.7,500/4. For area of 200 sq.m. or more as assessed by area Z.E. but not less than Rs.7,500/B. In case the consumer wishes to utilize Board water for additional/major construction such as casting
of roof slab, construction of additional room, the cost of water will be levied on the following rates:1. For Janta/LIG flats or plot area upto 40 sq.m.(for single floor) Rs.4,000/2. For MIG/HIG or plot area upto 80 sq.m.(for single floor) Rs.7,500/3. For plot area more than 80 sq.m. as assessed by area Z.E. but not less than Rs.10,000/Note:1. The consumer will keep his water meter in functional mode during the whole of the period of
construction and will intimate the ZRO when the construction is over.
2. Penalty in case the consumer fails to give advance information to ZRO about the construction or fail
to keep the meter in running condition For imposition of penalty the special magistrates of the Board
will take the cognizance as per the provision prescribed in schedule IV of the Act.
40. What are the present rates of water charges for construction purposes (Cost of water) for
commercial buildings?
Same as above.
41. What is Water Development Charge?
Water Development Charge is a charge which is recovered from the plot holders of the colony where
water lines are laid by the Delhi Jal Board and water services are commissioned.
42. What are the rates of Water Development Charges?
Rate of Water Development Charges can be obtained from the concerned DJB office.
43. What is Sewerage Development charge?
Sewerage Development Charge is a charge which is recovered from the plot holders of the colony
where sewer lines are laid by the Delhi Jal Board and sewerage services are commissioned.

44. What are rates of Sewerage Development charge?


Rate of Sewerage Development Charges can be obtained from the concerned DJB office.
45. What is the present criteria of levy of water/sewerage development charges?
Water/Sewerage Development Charge is levied on the basis of cost of laying of water/sewerage lines in
the respective colony from the date of notification, there is rebate of 20% on due amount if paid in
lump-sum within 3 months, 10% if paid during next 3 months. After expiry of six month there is no
rebate upto next 6 month. After the period of 12 months interest @12% PA is levied.

46. Where can the payment of water bills be made?


(i)
DJB Bill collection centers: Payment of water charge can be deposited in any of the Zonal
Cash Collection Centers of DJB during 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m on any working day. (List as
per annexure-II')
(ii)
Kiosk Machines installed at DJB offices.
(iii)
Payment can also be deposited in any of the authorized branches of the following banks:
a. Corporation Bank
b. ICICI Bank
c. IDBI Bank
d. Allahabad Bank
e. Union Bank of India
(iv)
Outlets of Easy Bill & Outlets of ITz Cash
(v)
Jeevan Citizen Centers.

Online payment : The payment of water bills can be made online through Net-banking,

47. Whether RWAs have been authorized to accept payments of water charges etc. on behalf of DJB
and what is the process?
Yes, DJB authorizes RWAs which are duly nominated by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi under Bhagidari
Scheme to accept payments of water charges and development charges by cheques only, on behalf of
DJB. The Association issues the receipts from G-8 Book. Office stationery will be provided by the Board.
Cheques, thus received by the association will be collected by an official of the concerned ZRO of DJB.
For availing the above facility, the president of the association will enter into an agreement, with the
concerned Joint Director (Revenue).
48. What facilities have been given to the Senior Citizens by the Delhi Jal Board ?
1. Separate queue for senior citizens is allowed at cash collection center.
2. Collection of payment of water bills by the official of DJB at the door-steps of senior citizens after
prior appointment.
49. What is the procedure for mutation (change of name) of water connection?
The application can be made Online or can be obtained from the DJB office. The filled application for
transfer of name is to be submitted in the office of the concerned ZRO(W) alongwith following : (i). In
case of purchase of property by the applicant : Attested copies of sale deed of the property in question
in the name of the applicant. (ii). Attested copy of succession certificate' or attested NOC' from the
other co-owners etc., in case of death of original water connection holder. (iii). An affidavit
indemnifying DJB from any legal dispute, duly attested by Notary Public. (iv). Copy of last paid bill of
water charges. (v). Mutation fee/ transfer charges to be deposited in concerned ZRO(W) office(This is
optional).
50. What is the mutation fee?
Mutation fee is charged at Rs. 100/- presently. Also the occupier security and water advances along
with meter security will be taken as applicable.

51. Can a consumer get a water connection temporarily disconnected? If so, how?
Yes, water connection can be temporarily disconnected only for valid reasons and for this an
application by the original water connection holder is to be submitted at concerned ZRO(W) office
along with copy of the latest paid bill and requisite disconnection charges. Deposit of disconnection fee
is essential which is Rs. 250/- along with clearance of all dues.
52. In the event of house remaining vacant, can the bills be revised on Minimum charge basis?
In the event of house remaining vacant and water is not used, bill may be revised on minimum charge
basis i.e., only the service charges will be billed. However, onus of proving the vacancy of the premises
during the period of billing will be on the consumer and he/she has to produce relevant documents like
electricity bill etc. verifying the vacancy of the property during the period for which request for
minimum charge is being made.
53. What is the penalty in case of dishonored cheques ?
The fee has been revised to Rs. 200/- in each case irrespective of cheque amount. In addition, the
person can be prosecuted under the Negotiable Instrument Act.
54. What is the procedure for refund of Meter Security?
Refund of meter security/advance may be applied for by the Registered Consumer who has ceased to
exist as Registered Consumer after mutation of water connection or the water connection is
disconnected on request. Application for refund of advance/meter security is to be accompanied with
original receipt vide which meter security/advance was deposited.
55. Can meter and occupier security in favour of new consumer be transferred on mutation of water
connection?
The amount of meter and occupier security already deposited may be transferred in favour of the new
consumer as a result of mutation of water connection. An application in the prescribed Performa is to
be submitted by the outgoing consumer and the incoming consumer duly attested by Gazetted Officer
along with the original receipt of deposit or the certificate of deposit of said security. The receipt or
certificate of deposit will be returned to the incoming consumer after making necessary endorsement
of transfer on that account.
56. Is it necessary to use the services of a licensed plumber for repairing of water service pipe
emanating from ferrule?
Yes, only the licensed plumbers are allowed by the DJB for the above purpose.
57. Is there any provision of Special meter reading?
Yes, when special reading is recorded at the written request of the consumer, special reading charges
@Rs.20/- shall be deposited in advance.
58. Is there any concession or exemption to religious places or charitable institutions?
No, water charges in category I are levied as per the existing water tariff in such institutions.
59. Is there any concessional rate of development charges for water supply/sewerage services from
Public Utility Institutions located in regularized/unauthorized colonies?
Yes, development charges for the reduced area is claimed from the following public Utility Institutions:
(a). Institutional Building upto 2 acres 50% of the plotted area (b). Institutional Building beyond 2
acres 33.33% of the plotted area The term public utility institution will include Govt./MCD/DDA/NDMC
or aided Educational Institution, Non-profit
making hospital/dispensaries/community centers and religious institutions which are purely and
entirely used for worship and no portion of these is used for commercial/residential purpose.
60. Is obtaining of sewerage connections mandatory in colonies where sewerage system has been
provided?
Yes, onus for obtaining mandatory sewer connection after payment of development charges lies on the
plot holders right from the date of Notification and the water supply shall be liable to be disconnected
in case of default.

61. What are the important telephone numbers of officers of Revenue Department who may be
contacted if the problem of billing or any other related issue is not being settled at level of ZRO?

62. What action can DJB take in case of non-payment of water charges?
In case of non-payment of water charges, not only water connection but also the sewerage connection
can be disconnected.
63. Whether a consumer can get his leaking/rusted water pipeline repaired or changed through DJB
?
Yes, On payment of nominal charges this service is available. Forms for this are available at the offices
of Executive Engineer, DJB of the area, free of cost.
64. Can the benefit of domestic category be claimed in notified industrial areas on the above
criteria?
No, notified industrial areas are not allowed this benefit.

66. Is it free water supply?
Yes, the water supply through tanker is without any charge and it is supplied when there is disruption
in regular supply of water or there is general contamination of water in the Locality/flats.
67. What is the procedure for taking water supply for special occasions like marriage, religious
functions?
For special occasions as mentioned above, water supply through tanker is provided at a fixed charge,
which is to be deposited at water emergencies in advance. This is however, subject to availability of
water / tankers.
68. Is the water supplied by the DJB water tankers fit for human consumption?
Yes, before a water tanker leaves the water emergency, the presence of chlorine in the right quantity is
ensured.
69. Can a water tanker be booked from some other water emergency of a different area?
No However, in case of non-supply of water, such arrangements are made by the Department on its
own, free of cost.
70. Who is to be contacted in the event of demand of money or bribe for supply of water by tanker
even if water to be supplied is free of cost?
In case of any complaint of this kind, the concerned Executive Engineer as per list at Annexure-I' is to
be contacted for redressal.
The complaint can also be lodged with the Vigilance Department of the DJB on the telephone number
23670461 at the address Varunalaya, Phase-II, Karol Bagh, New Delhi-05.
71. Who is to be contacted in case of contaminated supply of DJB water?
Complaint may be lodged with the respective water emergency as per details at Annexure-IV.

72. Can the DJB water can be tested for checking of contamination?
Yes, this facility is available free of cost and the complainant can contact the Director of Quality Control
on the telephone No. 23814322. His office address is at Wazirabad Water Works, Wazirabad, Delhi 110
054.
73. Can a leaking service pipe line of a consumer be got replaced by DJB ?
Yes at a nominal cost for which the applications are available free of cost in the office of the concerned
Executive Engineer.
74. I doubt the quality of water being supplied by the DJB. Whom should I contact for checking the
water quality?
In case of any complaint about the water quality, following laboratories of Delhi Jal Board can be
contacted for water testing free of cost:

75. Does the tests carried out in the laboratories only check the pathogens?
The tests provide for examination of the bacteriological remains as well as chemical examination.
Special tests are also carried out to determine Cyanide, chromium, lead, cadmium, arsenic, etc in the
water samples.
76. Can the tests be carried out on the water samples of the tube wells?
Water being supplied from Rainey Wells and tube wells are tested on regular basis to check the
contamination. However, any individual having its own source of water either from tube wells or
otherwise can get the samples of water tested from the DJB laboratories on payment of charges.

79. I have come to know that there is some financial assistance scheme of the Govt of NCT of Delhi
for promoting rain water harvesting. What is that?
The Govt. of NCT of Delhi is promoting Rain Water Harvesting by giving financial assistance to the
Resident Welfare Associations/ Cooperative Group Housing Societies, Private/ Recognized/ Govt.
Schools, Industrial Buildings, Hospitals, Charitable Institutions, N.G.O. Buildings etc. Scheme is
applicable for the entire Delhi except for few places in North West , West and North East Districts
covering areas like Bawana, Kanjhawala, Rani Khera, Barwala, KheraKhurd, KheraKalan, Libaspur,

Dhirpur, B.B. Marg, ISBT, Kashmere Gate, NandNagri, Goklpuri and G.T. Road Shahdara. Financial
Assistance is given to a maximum of 50% of total cost of the Rain Water Harvesting Structures or Rs.
50,000 whichever is less.
80. How to get financial assistance?
1. Identify & asses the area from where Rain Water is to be harvested.
2. On the plan of locality, mark the proposed RWH Structure.

All Zonal Engineers (DJB) have also been made Nodal Officers for collection and onward
submission of documents required for financial assistance to EE(RWH) DJB.

2. Contact any agencies who are in the field of Execution of Rain Water Harvesting structure and

4. Get the work executed as per approval of DJB/ CGWB.

82. What is RMS (Revenue management system) ?
RMS (Revenue Management System) is a solution for the automation of Collection, Billing, Metering
functions of Delhi Jal Board. It is designed, developed and maintained by TCS. As part of this project,
The consumers of DJB will have access to lot of services including SMS Facility, Online Payment, Online
application submission along with grievance raising and application tracking. RMS system will help in
improving the process efficiency so as to provide the consumers of DJB with better services. With the
help of RMS, The Consumers of DJB will have access to the following services which are available on
