Comments: Please see comment on final evaluation document. In addition. Ms.
Anderson shared the following input into her evaluation: This year I feel like I have
made improvements in reading by making the conversations that we have more
student centered. I've worked hard to make as many conversations as possible
student led and have asked the kids to share their books consistently with other
students and adults to keep the conversations going. I also feel like I have shifted
conversations in math to be more student led by asking students to answer
questions from other students.
This year I have been really open to change and trying new things. Since the
MACUL conference I have been working to shift my writing curriculum from
traditional to blended learning so the students have more opportunity to work at
their own pace, they have solid examples in front of them at all times, and I can
devote 100% of our writing time to working one-on-one with students. My plan is to
get my entire writing curriculum switched over and then consider another subjectpossibly science. I am always looking for new and better ways to do things and am
currently looking at the benefits of alternative seating in my classroom to see what
I could possibly do with this for next year.
