Workshop Facilitators
Dr. Ghazala Rafique (MBBS, MSc.PH, FCPS) is the Director of the Human Development Programme and Associate Professor in the
Department of Community Health Sciences, Aga Khan University. She has extensive experience of teaching, research and implementing
and monitoring field based projects.
Ms. Seema Lasi is a faculty member; she has done Masters in Epidemiology & Biostatistics from The Aga Khan University and another
Masters in Peace and Conflict during Early Years from University of Ulster, UK. She is currently a PhD student at Ball State University,
US. During her coursework, she has done a number of courses on qualitative and
quantitative research, and programme evaluation.
Dr. Kausar Waqar is an Inclusion specialist with substantial experience in designing teaching courses and researching the areas of
Inclusive Education, Gender in Education, Early Child Development and Evaluation in Education for teachers in higher education.
Direct experience of leading the area of Inclusive Education in a leading multi-campus, multi-continent university. Research interests
include disability, gender, Early Child Development and evaluation issues in a developing context and looking for their contextual
solutions
Dr. Batool Fatima is working as Assistant Professor, Human Development program, Aga Khan University. She is a Clinical
Psychologist and Public health professional. She completed her Dr.PH from Boston University on Fulbright scholarship.
