EL Wax
Product Grade

EL- Wax LP0020P

Non - refined polyethylene homopolymer wax produced from

the low product of HDPE manufacture. Drop point is 112 C and
a viscosity range at 149C of 5 - 20 cPs. Ideal for use in Industrial
applications which do not require F&DA approvals.

EL- Wax LP0040P

Non - refined polyethylene homopolymer wax produced from

the low product of HDPE manufacture. Drop point is 112 C and a
viscosity range at 149C of 20 - 40 cPs. Ideal for use in Industrial
applications which do not require F&DA approvals.

EL-Wax LP0100P

Non - refined polyethylene homopolymer wax produced from

the low product of HDPE manufacture. Drop point is 112 C and a
viscosity range at 149C of 40 - 100 cPs. Ideal for use in Industrial
applications which do not require F&DA approvals.

EL- Wax LP1020P

are ideally suited to hot melt adhesive, plastic masterbatch and
colour concentrate applications.

Refined polyethylene homopolymer wax produced from the low

product of HDPE manufacture. Drop point 116C and viscosity
range at 149C of 40-60 cPs. With F&DA compliance, excellent
thermal stability and compatibility with other waxes these waxes
are ideally suited to hot melt adhesive, plastic masterbatch and
colour concentrate applications.

to hot melt adhesive, plastic masterbatch and colour concentrate
applications.

WV2004P

A polyethylene homopolymer wax produced from the low product of

HDPE manufacture refined using a thermal cracking process. Nominal
drop point 114C and viscosity range at 149C of 10-40 cPs this wax
gives a softer option to refined grades with the advantage of F&DA approval over non-refined options.

WV2010P

A polyethylene homopolymer wax produced from the low product of

HDPE manufacture refined using a thermal cracking process. Nominal
drop point 115C and viscosity range at 149C of 40-100 cPs this wax
gives a softer option to refined grades with the advantage of F&DA approval over non-refined options.

EL- Wax
WH2010P

A polyethylene homopolymer wax produced by a thermal cracking

process directly from HDPE. As a new addition to the SCG Wax range
having a nominal dropping point of 121C and viscosity at 140C less
than 100cPs this wax gives an alternative to the LDPE range where higher
softening temperature and lower penetration depth are needed. Ideally
suited to inks, paints and coatings and thermoplastic processing.

EL- Wax
WH2045P

A polyethylene homopolymer wax produced by a thermal cracking

process directly from HDPE. As a new addition to the SCG Wax range
having a nominal dropping point of 129C and viscosity range at 140C
of 350 - 550 cPs this wax gives an alternative to the LDPE range where
higher softening temperature and lower penetration depth are needed.
Ideally suited to inks, paints and coatings and thermoplastic processing.
