MRI OF LUMBAR SPINE:

Technique: High resolution T1- and T2- weighted serialsections in sagittalplane.
FSE exial plane threugh lumbar regiolr on 3T seerirler. CD enelssed.

Findings:
Transitionat 51 vertebra with tumbarization is noted.

Posterior disc bulging with annular tear at L5*$1 and $1-$2 levels cau*ing indentation
on thecal sac witfuout coffipressive elemerds.

Rest of the vertebral bodies are normal in size, shape and signal intensity.
The bony central lumber canal is adequate in diameterwith no evidence of stenosis.

normal.
Ligamentum flavum, intervertebral forarnina and facet joints do not reveal any
abnormality.
linR myelcgraphy does not reveal extradural blcck sr nerv roots cut-off.
N* intraspinal maes ar Bra/panvertebnal callection is seen.

IMPRESSION:
I

Lurnbarized Si vertebra.
Posterior disc bulging wit?r annular tear at L5-Et and St-$2 levels without
compressive elements.
No definite extradural compression.
