I am interested in Cosmetology and Psychology.

It would be interesting to learn

about the way the people think. I also think I would be interested in learning
different techniques for hair and makeup. I want to learn more about these fields
because I have always had a love for anything that has to do with makeup and hair
(cosmetology). I also have always been intrigued by the way different people think
and I would love to learn more about it.
A Pediatric Psychologist helps child for ages 1-18. A psychologist helps people either
cope or deal with occurring issues in ones lives. Most Pediatric Psychologists work
full time during regular business hours. Most Psychologists salarys range can be
anywhere near $69,000, $34 an hour.
I am preparing myself for these two possible careers by doing my best in all of my
core classes, as well as doing research on the two fields.
The possible degrees for these interests are a Bachelors in Psychology, and then a
Masters in Psychology. So far, I have looked into the University of Pittsburgh for
their Psychology program. They offer programs for both a Bachelors and Masters in
Psychology that I would need to fulfill the career of a Pediatric Psychologist.
My School list includes:

Penn State University, COA - $20,702, My estimated cost is around $21,000

Carnegie Mellon University, COA - $45,760, My estimated cost is around $48,
897
Edinboro University, COA - $26,781, My estimated cost is around $27,000

I have not yet shadowed or worked anywhere that would help me to learn more
about the careers I am interested in, but I hope to do so in the near future. I have
attended the CMU field trip that helped me to learn more about technology if I at
some point decide that is something I am interested in for a career.
I have also attended the Etiquette lunch workshop during my Sophomore year of
High School.
