the idea that after they complete LaunchCodes training, theyd be ready for a job
in one of LaunchCodes partner companies.
Lind led the charge in placing nearly 500 people in tech jobs and helped the
organization expand into new markets, such as Kansas City, Miami, and Providence,
Rhode Island.
In June, the organization received a portion of $8.4 million in U.S. Department of
Labor grants that will help LaunchCode set up operations in Seattle and in
Portland, Oregon.
