Subject: Procurement of 2 nos. of Cooling fans for Alcatel system at Karur

terminal.
1. The Alcatel system at Karur terminal is fitted with 6 nos. of 6 inch 48 V DC
cooling fans for exhaust of hot air from the panel and maintaining the
recommended ambient temperature.
2. It is observed that out 2 nos of cooling fan not worked and it shall be replaced
with new fan.
3. Accordingly, The party M/s Becon Electronics , Coimbatore is contacted and
obtained quote for above said items. The said party is authorized dealer for M/s
Rexnord fans. The offer is enclosed.

The said party is quoted an amount of Rs.2100/- for one number of 48V DC fan.

5. Your approval is sought for placing the purchase order for purchase of 2 nos of
fan from the said party for a total value of Rs.4810/-(Rupees Four thousand eight
hundred and ten only) which is inclusive of Vat 14.5 %. The budget allocation
under Instrumentation maintenance :Revex 2012-13.
