Biographical Sketch

A biographical sketch is a short biographical piece detailing the most


important aspects or accomplishment of a students life. When writing a
biographical sketch, it's important to sift through all the information available on a
person and pick out the key elements which bring the most strength to the sketch,
while discarding unimportant, irrelevant, or trivial information. Compress
biography of all authors to one page only. The name of each author should be
capitalized without indention.
Find out what the target audience wishes to know about the person, what
important events shaped the person, and what impact the person had on
others. This may include positions held in organizations as well as awards
received and some principles to live by.
